So I'll be keeping this old version of the app installed for now Edited May 17 by Flaws39 ![]() Woukd you be able to check if I have mallwhere on my device because the reason I ran the scan in the first place was because I saw something at the top of my screen flash up saying something had been installed and as I've said I have my phone and all my apps to never auto update including the google play store and google play services So i installed an old version of malwarebytes from 2020 and it ran without detecting the pua apps I use and finished without crashing.so that why the first scan worked and said no threats, then I updated the app did the scan again and it detected a load of threats then crashed every time so it's the latest update that causes the issue with crashing on my galaxy Note 9 on android 9. I never got to see what the other threats were as it would crash.before finishing But when I stopped the scan it would let me see the threats the 2 it let me view were quick settings app and that is not a virus or bad in any way as it's been on my phone 5 years and I use it daily and the other one was package disabler pro that I have a paid subscription for they were classed as pua orange threats. So wilst testing I pressed stop when it detected 2 threats because it crashes before it can detect more usually. I've also disabled battery optimisation for malwaremalwarebytes like I read in an old thread still it shuts down mid scan after detecting loads of threats I've submitted a support ticket using the updated app that crashes and will not finish a scan 4257232 Endpoint Detection & Response for Servers
